This original acrylic painting captures the sunset at Rocky Neck State Park. Growing up in East Lyme, CT - had many perks. One of them was that I lived just a quick drive from the beach. This painting is inspired by a photograph I took at Rocky Neck State Park at sunset.
One of the reasons I love being a traveling artist is recreating beautiful sunset scenes from different places. Capturing that perfect moment right before dusk takes time and a delicate hand. Using a layering of colors to create that sunset effect makes this painting unique.
